Six Sentence Sunday – Some Young Adult This Week
Thanks to everyone who comes over to read and comment my six each week. It means a LOT to me.
This week I haven’t written anything new – I’ve been busy preparing for my Elora’s Match blog tour (I still need a host for November 7 *hint hint*) and all sorts of stuff – so I thought I’d share the opening sentences from my Young Adult Urban Fantasy – The East Willow Wolves.
Let me know what you think.
It’s been four months since the accident, and I still can’t sleep. Every time I close my eyes I see it. Dad’s mangled body, Chase’s bloodied face. The car in a heap of scrap metal. I shudder when I think of it. I should be with them – wherever they are.
Now go check out some other fantastic snippets from great authors at the Six Sentence Sunday website.
Have a great Sunday!

Oh, intriguing. I really like it. And I’m booked for the 7th, or I would totally help. I saw it up on Goddess and wanted to host, but I’m already booked.
but good luck with the tour!

A lot of character and back story in the six. Great set up. Survivor’s guilt is a hard thing.

I would definitely read more
…though it would be even more compelling if there was a hint if it was your MC’s dad’s fault, or someone else, or a true accident… like, I don’t get an idea of they were in a collision with another car or if a tire blew, or what. So just that added tiny detail would be awesome
